- and I believe everyone deserves to live with it.
I am Ekta Mehra, the artist, creator, and designer behind Studio Bodhi. My artistic journey began in India, but it has been shaped and deepened by years of living across Asia. Each experience, each encounter, has brought new colours, emotions, and perspectives into my work, creating a fusion that reflects both tradition and modernity.
After two decades of a nomadic expat life, more than ten years in the corporate world, and raising two children, I found my way back to art - a rediscovery that felt like coming home. The vibrant cultures of Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Malaysia have been my teachers, showing me that art is not bound by geography or language. For me, art is a connection. It transcends boundaries, carrying stories, emotions, and meaning from one heart to another. Studio Bodhi is my way of sharing this — creating pieces that bring art into everyday living, making it intimate, accessible, and alive. Regards Ekta
